If you ever lived in baltimore then you its a strong possibility that you have picked up The baltimore sun newspaper before. The Baltimore Sun is the local newspaper of Baltimore. Stories and local events are usually being written about in this newspaper. The Baltimore sun may also include proffesional sports news (most often the Baltimore Ravens). It can cost from $0.50-$0.75, but I certainly feel like eventually all newspapers will be obsolete because of the technology today. But on the other hand I feel like the Baltimore sun or any local newspaper will be around longer because people care more about what's going on in their town. And like most newspapers, they dumb down some most of there writing/stories to make it simple, no one wants to read a damn novel in a newspaper. People want it to be simple so they can read and continue on with there day.

I can agree that magazines are exploiting celebrities and
these “wannabe” celebrities. Magazines over exaggerate and give people false
hope of something they will never be, such as a perfect, strong, well-toned
body, AKA “the Adonis effect”. Magazines will also Photoshop images of woman to
look thinner or, in the black community thicker or curvier. These men and women
are being portrayed as sex symbols. And what I can understand is why people can’t
love and accept the body that they’re in. it seems like everyone wants this “perfect
body” but what people don’t understand is this shxt will never happen. Even
children and teens are being exploited, with the internet being so live today
and the use of social media younger individuals can become famous in 30 seconds
just by uploading a video on vine, ig, or YouTube. Its opening these kids up to
criticism at a young age and I personally think they’re not ready for the big
spot light. Magazines will pump your head up and make you believe something that’s
not true just so it can draw you in and make you open or even buy the magazine.
Magazines will often use words in big bold print to make it stand out and
exaggerate a certain event and make it seem like it’s a big freaking deal and
make every story, every situation, and every celebrity seem 10x more intense
that what it really is. In conclusion, magazines will do anything to make you
as the consumer, pick and buy the magazine. There’s a magazine out there for
everyone that can in some way draw you in. money is the factor in all of this,
so magazines will say whatever they have to say just to get them flying off the
racks and putting money into their pockets.
